counterstrike16download.net distributes a clean, free Counter-Strike 1.6 client. The site is run by long-time CS 1.6 players and server administrators who got tired of installers bundled with adware, modified game menus, and slowhack-vulnerable clients — so we built our own.

What we ship

The build is refreshed whenever the master server list or protection needs updating — the date on each download page tells you when that last happened. The game itself is the property of Valve; Counter-Strike was created by Minh Le and Jess Cliffe in 1999.
